One for Mr. Hockey by FideNullo One for Mr. Hockey by FideNullo
In honor of Gordie... His name appears many times on the Stanley Cup. This only one representation.

The Cup was at the AT&T Center in San Antonio for an appearance (I'm the team photog for the AHL SA Rampage). When I took that shot, I was actually watching the Cup for the guy... Yes, for about thirty minutes, I was in charge... of the Stanley Cup. :faint:

Oh, the wonderful Stanley cup! I Love this picture, it's nice to see a close up since most of the pictures taken of the cup is it sitting on a table, which is quite boring, and this is a nice change.

Thanks! I was actually in charge of watching the Cup for about 30-minutes. ;) As the team photog for an AHL team, I get to spend some quality time with the Cup every year, when it goes on tour.

I like it, there's some elegance and simplicity in this photo and on the other hand there's something indestructible which gives one immortality.

Thanks, mate! It was surreal touching the Cup. Thinking of all the legendary players who have held it aloft over the last hundred years... I could almost feel its energy, just sitting there. :faint:

Great shot. Love the look of the grain here. Awesome contrast.
